Our Story

Greening Kwetu Initiative is a youth-led environmental non-profit organisation committed to restoring ecosystems and empowering communities to build resilience in the face of climate change.

Our Mission

Our mission is driven by practical, community-centered solutions that address environmental degradation,women empowerment and gender equality while creating awareness, sustainability, and long-term impact.

Our Vision

To see a Kenya where communities are empowered, ecosystems are restored, and the youth and women are at the forefront of climate action.

Through large-scale tree planting, women empowerment and gender equality, climate education, and climate-smart agriculture, we work hand-in-hand with local communities, schools,women groups and youth groups to pave the way for a greener, healthier future.

School Feeding Program

School Feeding Program

Supporting schools across Kajiado North Sub-County in Nalepo Primary School with kitchen gardens and climate-smart farming training, food and mentorship to ensure no child studies on an empty stomach. Surplus produce is sold to sustain the program long-term.
